My Valentine's Day Surprise
When I came home from work Friday night, I sat down and talked with Kyle for about 30 minutes before he left for his basketball game. I thought it was funny when he asked, "Aren't ya gonna go change into your purple sweats?" I guess I normally change into comfortable clothes as soon as I get home, and this time I didn't right away. We kept talking, and somewhere in the middle of stalling by stretching in our living room instead of the gym, he made another comment about me not having changed yet. As soon as he left, I went into the bedroom to change, and I found this gigantic mirror. It's from IKEA and I LOVE it. I was raving about it when we went there a couple months ago. He made up some story about why he needed to borrow my car on Friday, and he drove almost an hour there to get it for me. He's so sweet!
When I called to thank him he said, "It's about time you went in there!!"

LOVE the mirror! Your whole apartment looks great. You did a great job with the decorating, and I really like all the new furniture, picture frames, etc. Did you know we have the same throw pillows? I'll take that as a compliment, since I've always thought you had great taste!
ReplyDeleteOh, and you're right. You're table is basically exactly like ours! Here's some advice...start using a tablecloth as SOON as you have a child. Ours is all scratched and dinged up now. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteloved catching up! sounds like things are going great!
ReplyDeleteI too love that mirror! So fun! Miss you guys and can't wait to see you Friday! You should have posted a pic of my room. The kids are dying to come visit, or maybe it's the whole Disneyland thing, but I am so needing a vaca....Oh Mexico please come fast!!! Anyway, love the pics of all the decor, it's fun to see what you guys are doing so far away from us. Love You
