Garage makeover

I kind of laughed at Kyle when he said he wanted to paint the garage door leading in to our basement. It was never painted, but I guess I didn't see the point since nobody sees that door. Kyle told me to pick the color, but I let him since it was his idea. He suggested blue but insisted that I at least help pick the shade. When he wasn't a fan of the "pretty" blues that I liked at Home Depot, I insisted he get what he wanted. I'd be lying if I said I super loved the color, but the message on the wall made up for it. It was either leave both, or repaint. Not really. I pretended to like it but my babe knows me too well. In the meantime we saw a house with the front door the color "Cay" and I fell in love.

Before

After

This was my surprise during my last Michigan trip! When I returned he had me help pick the color for the walls, which was supposed to be a light gray and it turned out more tan. But I love it! We even painted the walls together. Romantic.

Who knew painting garages could be so fun??

Jazz game

We took Bentlee to her first Jazz game last year....err...maybe the beginning of this year? I have no idea when it was or how old she was, but these pictures are so cute I had to post them!

As always, she was much more interested in the children behind us

Farm Country

One of my favorite things about being able to stay home with Bentlee are play dates with our friends. We get together with Whitney and Jillian, and Jen and Brynlee the most. Jenn Wilson was in Utah this summer, so I was excited to have play dates with her as well. We spent one morning at Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point and it was really fun. There was just one giant cow there, and Bentlee fell in love. She'd wander in his direction every chance she got, yelling, "Caaa".

Keeping her eye on him
She thought the goats were okay until the started sticking their face through the fence

Sneaking away to her cow
This is as close as she let me get to the horse. She loves animals as long as they don't get too close!

Come to think of it, maybe it was the safe distance that she loved....

Autumn

Just like everyone else in the universe, I love, LOVE this time of year. I know it's going to be over in the blink of an eye, so we are trying to take advantage. The Saturday before last we went to Hee Haw's farm with my cousin Jen and her family. Bentlee was excited about the cows, pigs, and bunnies, but for some reason she's not a fan of goats. She also loved the little tractor ride which daddy took her on several times.

BFFs
Check out the position of her wrist. Or don't....ouch.
"Where piggy go?"
Hiding from the big bad goats

She kept sliding down until she practically lying down

We took a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch where the sunflowers were twice as tall as toddlers

Who loves daddy??
Bentlee gets pretty excited when she sees pumpkins, so I want to take her to another pumpkin patch with bigger pumpkins

GO COUGARS

I finally attended my first BYU football game, and it just happened to be the biggest game of the year (against the University of Utah). Unfortunately it was not a pretty game, but I loved being there. Stadiums in Utah are my favorite because of the scenery!

4T is what I get for waiting until the day of the big game to buy her a shirt
Grandma and Grandpa took Bentlee for us during the game, and we met them at Cracker Barrel beforehand. I was excited to see the game that I used to play so much at my Grandma and Grandpa Vibber's house!
